Volume One - Advent and Christmas

There are some events which occur at regular intervals throughout the course of one’s ministry, as each year passes, namely the major Christian festivals. Unless a minister is particularly gifted, which I am not, this can present a problem, the problem being How do I come up with something new each year at Christmas, Easter and so on? One solution is to move to a new church at short intervals, but I wouldn’t really recommend this!

The other solution is to take advantage of the vast number of resources we have nowadays and seek inspiration from books and material easily found on the internet, as long as the search is always firmly anchored in prayer, seeking discernment and guidance from the Holy Spirit.

With all this in mind I thought it might be helpful to publish my seasonal sermons in the hope that they may just possibly help a preacher at these regularly occurring occasions. The sermons may also be of use in personal devotions.
