I started out on this particular project with the intention of including sermons for all the major annual Christian festivals in just one volume, but Advent, Christmas and Epiphany occupied nearly 170 pages which I consider enough for one book, so that was Volume One, and this is Volume Two, a collection of sermons for Holy Week, Easter and Pentecost, preached over a period of ministry spanning forty years. Some of the contents in this book are brief and not really sermons as such. Sometimes they would be part of a service which included various choral works, or a service which included various other non-Biblical readings.
I hope that these sermons will just possibly help a preacher at these regularly occurring occasions. The sermons may also be of use in personal devotions, and if all else fails, this is a way of backing up and preserving my sermons for my family and future generations when I depart this earthbound life.
