What can I say this is a great story Alexandria has become one of my favorite authors! Lincoln was crazy to mess up his happy home for a thot like Sarah. Gabby didn’t play I was happy with how she handled things. However I still want them together. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow what a gut wrenching 5 star read

😮‍💨 this book hurt. Don't come for me people but from all the comments I read about this book over the last few weeks only told PART of the story. I thought Lincoln was a villain with no shame, no heart, no remorse. Nope that was NOT the case.
This book hurt because it called out to many of us women who have been Gabby. Who thought those cows truly meant forever...until your gut leads you to go searching and find exactly what you didn't want to. Proof of his infidelity. Mine happened over 15yrs ago and I will never forget that heart stopping moment when your world crashes down. There are moments in life when you know, looking back, that that’s the moment my life changed forever and this was one of them.
My entire freaking review got erased so I’ll be chintzy and say, I loved this book, Lincoln wasn’t what I was lead to believe he was. Also nuanced and jaded, human. Not signing his shïte in the LEAST, just recognizing that fact. They he is dealing with his grief the best way he can.
I get why he doesn’t shut Sara down right away. He k owes it won’t go over well and is selfishly, choosing self preservation or Gabbys’ pride and feelings. Typical male…he doesn’t pretend like it’s okay or agree with it. He lets Sarah know that’s not cool and starts to see her, REALLY see her for a second. Then Sarah realizes she has let her true colors show then makes a “sly cutsie comment” and reels him right back in. She makes sure to try to be sweet and understanding when it comes to Gabby because she knows that once Lincoln (hopefully coming up) sees the REAL her, he will tell her to kick rocks and get the hëck outta there!
One thing I definitely DO agree with is the unprotected smëx happening all over the place, that is just EXTRA NASTY!🤮 No bad when it was between 2 people but a 3rd not part of your relationship?! Gross. I would be getting tested stat!
The Dr. part at the end wasn’t such a big deal (well, it WAS but not for the reasons everyone is hating on Gabby for) no, I’m not mad at the scene at all because I am petty spaghetti and LOVE the fact he needed her and got to her the knife twisted that much further in his stupid heart for taking her for granted. That was a genius move in my opinion. Here is just a little taste of what you used to own…yeah, petty AF!
All in all, I’m scared because a LOT of comments and reviews tell me I’m going to hate Lincoln coming up. I’m so not ready for it. The audio version was virtual voice but at least they used male and female versions so you get the feeling of the character switch. I cannot WAIT to jump into book 2 rn!!

Story Telling

I love your story telling. It always makes me feel like I actually know the characters. Waiting for the next one!!

I had so many emotions!

I had so many emotions reading this book. I felt Gabrielle's pain and sadness the most. The fact that he kept Sarah around even after everything pissed me off! And the fact that she didn't have anyone, while he was still with mistress. I would have felt better, if she had someone to make Lincoln jealous as well. But I still enjoyed this story.

OMG Alexandria, you outdid yourself on this story and it's only Book 1! I'm not into spoilers so I'll just say this is a most PASSIONATE, emotionally charged throuple journey. Some palpable themes that we all can relate to in some form or fashion. I am so ready for Book 2 🔥🔥🔥
