Virtual voice sounds weird

The virtual voice really took me out of the story. There was no emotion behind it. The cadences at the end of sentences and phrases were sometimes off and on occasion, it repeated words at the beginning of sentences. Without any emotion behind it, the story was far less interesting and far harder to follow.
