Incredible story

I had the pleasure of seeing the Broadway show that was based on this book and was excited to read it. This is a fantastic book about two women that revolutionized the way we do business. And they did it in a time when women were rarely in positions of power. I love this book

These women knew how to live.

Exceptional chronicle of two women who shaped the beauty industry, and the perception of beauty for generations. A worthy and entertaining book.

can narration ruin a good book?

This story is compelling, writing very good. the narrators voice is so monotone I could hardly listen to it. read the book!

Interesting biography

Interesting but lengthy biography of 2 women who pioneered the cosmetics industry. Found it to be too detailed and quite dry.
