Why is this book not more popular? Author is great, love s rare gem like this

So moving

I love this whoever series. This first book hooked me with its feeling and thought out story

Weird

The story was okay. I’m good with age-gap romances but the fact that it didn’t matter at all to the mmc was uncomfortable. The plot twist at the end was disgusting and it made me regret downloading this book. Super cringy and unfortunately not worth the listen.

Confused?

I was hoping the end would explain something different than what I was thinking was happening by 3/4 of the book in. It doesn’t exactly feel right. It’s not explained that it’s not what was clearly explained when he’s at the cemetery. Never heard a book like this. Not my kind of thing.

The ending …..

Did not like the weird connection they had. Author really didn’t go into it either to make the ick go away a bit. Don’t think I’ll be continuing the series.
