Biography

I feel kinda disappointed by this book because the title made me believe that it would be about Washington and Hamilton's friendship - their "alliance", but instead it's really just a dual biography. A well written, detailed, biography.

Enjoyable story of two founders

I enjoyed this story. Two of our Founding Father worked together and their story need to be shared.

Jefferson and his band were the precursors to current Republican Party.

That the friendship and agreement in principles shared by Washington and Hamilton were of tantamount importance to founding of our Government.
