Sadly disappointed

It looks like from other reviews I'm in the minority but I just could not get into this story. I'm so disappointed as I am a huge Karin Slaughter fan and was so excited to know a new book was coming out.

From the first couple of chapters I felt something was missing. I was unable to bond with any of the characters, there were so many of them and I felt there was wsy too much happening. I recall at one point i guessed there would be 40mins or so left but there was another 4 hours remaining. Maybe if the story was a bit shorter and more compact??

I kept going till the end but wasn't very invested by the time the killer was discovered.

Can’t finish

This book is not for me cannot get into it at all. Really feel it’s boring.
