Such a current story.

I teared up numerous times.
I related to church life, and the characters a must read Black and White folks

Ending too abrupt

I liked the story and the issues raised but the end dropped off too quickly. It was like someone bringing you to a precipice and then jumping off. I wished there would have been more dialogue between Jenny and Riley once they started talking.

Excellent book about modern issues of race.

Loved it. This book gets to the very issue of cop brutality and needles dying of young black kid's and the struggle of white people to understand white privilege.

Beyond Amazing.... Gripping .... Real Life....

Absolutely reflective of hate which while depressing never out weighs God''s love for us...

Emotional Reading

This book was narrated very well. The topic of the story is current and realistic.
