I love the lighthearted, funny parts of the story. The Characters are well defined and the mystery is easy to follow along with. Love this series

The circus has come to town!

You know that Loveta and Sue Jan are going to be in the middle of things when there's murderous activity, and it's no different when "a circus" comes to their little town. Things are a little more complicated for them this go-round, because their both pregnant. They still give it their darndest to figure who the bad guy or gal is.
If you love cozy mysteries, you will love Weighty Matters by Linda Kozar and narrated by Michelle Babb. The books in this series that I've listened to have all been very entertaining.They are laugh out loud funny. The narration makes them even better. This one was full of puns that at times took me by surprise. There was a character named Pickle that provided the basis for many. Hope you find this revue helpful--it was really no big dill. Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Breth of fresh air

Sue Jan and a very pregnant Lovita are just as excited when the traveling circus comes to town but they become even more excited when someone takes a shot at the height challenged ring leader. When other circus folk start dying Sue Jan and Lovita are on the job, they are also interested in the big foot sightings near town, because all this action is bringing a lot of press to town and not all of it good.
It is always fun to visit the Crown of Glory girls in Wachita Texas and find out all the gossip of what is going on. These books always make me smile and laugh. Narrator Michelle Babb makes these books so much fun with all her voices for the characters. These books are a breath of fresh air after a hard day.

Crazy good!

Another fun mystery from the beauty salon in Texas. Each one is as funny as can be, and the investigation by two great friends is always enjoyable, never disappointing. See publisher's blurb for plot clues, no spoilers here. Just be prepared to be amazed by all the quirky developments!
