Everyone jokes that the local big-box Swedish furniture store is a maze. They don't know that the bedroom department is literally built on top of a shifting Fae Labyrinth.

I just wanted a bookshelf. I took a wrong turn at the meatballs, walked through a display wardrobe, and ended up in the Deep Fae Realm.

Now I’m lost in an endless corridor of flat-pack boxes and confusing arrows, hunted by shadow beasts. My only hope of survival? Grael, the Fairy-Fae Guardian of the Maze.

Grael is seven feet of winged, muscle-bound terrifying. He’s also hopelessly lost. He’s been wandering these aisles for centuries, trying to find the exit because he really, really wants to try a cinnamon bun.

He thinks the store map I grabbed at the entrance is a sacred scroll. He thinks I’m a powerful wizard because I have an Allen wrench. And he’s decided that his sacred duty is to protect me until we find the checkout.

But when the lights go out and we get trapped in a display bedroom for the "night," things get complicated. Grael has never seen a memory foam mattress before. He’s very big, very curious, and he wants to test the structural integrity of everything.
