The bus crash was only the beginning.

On a desolate mountain highway during a freak blizzard, a handful of strangers are left stranded. The survivors—including a haunted ex-soldier and a resourceful young runaway—believe their nightmare is just beginning. They are wrong.

Out in the swirling snow, something is watching. Waiting. Hunting. They are not just beasts; they are a blasphemy of flesh and bone, moving with a terrifying, coordinated intelligence. The broken-down bus is no longer a shelter. It’s a baited metal box.

As the creatures launch their relentless assault, the passengers are picked off one by one, their screams swallowed by the storm. With no escape and dwindling hope, the remaining few must fight back with anything they can find. But these monsters are faster, stronger, and their hunger is insatiable.

Perfect for fans of relentless action-horror like 30 Days of Night and desperate survival stories like The Grey. This fast-paced, gory, and utterly gripping thriller will leave you breathless until its shocking final page. In a battle against impossible odds, who will survive the dawn?

If you've ever seen the British film Howl (2015), it will remind you of that.

This book was read by the virtual voice which did a good job of pronouncing words. I know with some other books virtual voice struggles or it rushes words together. But not this one.

Anyways, the book was super quick and to the point. The narrative was absolutely captivating painting the most beautiful images that didn't drag on forever.

All I can say is I picked this up / downloaded it on a whim and wasn't disappointed at all. Give it a listen.
