Let me backtrack just a little...I’m supposed to marry Alexa, but she’s just like my mother. The girl is attractive, but there’s something there that’s just not clicking. Maybe because I’m an American and she’s British?

I’m not really in love with her, and my American mother is just so fond of her, but why? Because of my mother’s obsession with the Royal family. That’s only reason I can think of.

Now, I must come up with a plan to marry someone in the next four days or my inheritance will go down the drain.... This is a crazy situation, but there’s someone over there across the table from me who looks like the ideal candidate to be my fake bride....

Not tahat much

This is a not bad start to a series, but just that, a short start. If you have the patience and time to go on to the 2nd book, you're good to go. Not bad, just left me wanting more.

It Was Never Supposed To Get Real!

Their chance meeting led to a marriage of convenience. They both had their reasons, Zack needed a wife in order to collect his inheritance and Candace and her young daughter were in danger of becoming homeless after an accident. Fate is calling the shots in this delightfully written, beautifully narrated, angsty, strangers, to friends, on the way to lovers, romance! The characters are brilliantly developed! I fell in love with Candace, her daughter Emily and Zack! I loathed Zack’s Mother and that horrible creature that Alexa! This one really held my interest and I can’t wait for more! Please!

Just a teaser book

The main characters are likeable, the story has an interesting little twist to it, and the narrator does a good female voice and good child voice. I can tell what's going to happen, but still want to listen to or read the next book in order to finish the story. I hate this trend of giving the reader/listener just a part of the story, but it is what it is, I guess.
