What Happened to Liam?

When LIAM TOWNSEND disappeared after abandoning his car a year ago, the police put it down to suicide. Then a year later the body of a woman is found in a shallow grave nearby and her DNA matches that which was found on the passenger seat of LIAM’s car.
VALERIE GARDNER was a close friend of LIAM’s and walks into the Lytham office of PI STEPHANIE MARSHALL asking if she can find LIAM. STEPHANIE agrees but has no idea about the ulterior motive VALERIE has for finding LIAM and just how many people that will involve, including GRANT WILDE, who works for VALERIE and with whom STEPHANIE starts a relationship.
The investigation will take STEPHANIE across continents in the search for LIAM and also on the trail of money that is connected to both LIAM and his friend VALERIE. LIAM never met his father who was from Syria and STEPHANIE uncovers just how dangerous that proves to be.
But when she does finally discover the truth about what happened to LIAM, nobody is prepared for what she finds and for the consequences it will have on all those who knew LIAM.
