When Conner Carter is banished from New York for publically cheating on his socialite wife he flies to Sonoma, California to stay when his younger brother, Cody, and Cody's ridiculously wealthy husband Rhett and their two adopted Cambodian children. Since childhood, Conner has been jealous of overachiever Cody's seemingly perfect life. But Conner discovers that things that glitter tarnish and shatter in unexpected and dangerous ways.
