Not Consistent

Annie Anybody cannot control old door locks. Swatted in book 2. And where did the skeleton key go? Other than that story was good. Narration on point. No Wild Card "/

Gideon: “you’re strong, but I’m sneaky!”
This installment had an especially madcap air- and that was a good thing.

“You’ve killed an awful lot of people … or should that be a lot of awful people?”
“Flattery will get you nowhere.”
Banter, backstabbing, and threats … with friends like these, who needs enemies?

“Wild thing, I think I love you!”
“Down boy!”
Add monster mayhem to the mix and this was enough of a good time that I forgave all the villain monologues.
