But her friend Lisa hasn’t been so lucky, and as happy as Alice is her heart is hurting for Lisa. But Alice is rooting for the attraction she sees between Lisa and her assistant chef, Zane.

After her horrible divorce Lisa Blair has found satisfaction being the chef at Star Gazer Inn and is delighted about everyone’s newfound love. However, she had no plan about falling in love again herself, then she hired chef, Zane Tyson…and now life has become complicated. Now she’s in trouble, especially after he’s called out on a family emergency and might not ever return.

Zane’s heart is broken after being pushed away by Lisa, the only woman he’s ever loved. Now after a horrible fire, his nephew and his young wife are dead and Zane is called to their baby’s side. A single man all of his life, he is now the baby’s guardian and not sure how to handle it.

Now what? He’s going to need help so he returns to Star Gazer Island where he knows there will be help from his friends…and maybe Alice.

Also, newly in love Tucker McIntyre and Maggie Carson are moving forward in their romance, taking it slow but steady as everyone is rooting for them.

And then all of Tucker’s brothers and their wonderful wives are expecting babies…hopefully a wedding, and a baby will be in store for him and Maggie.
