Two loving, committed men

I loved the dynamic between Cam/Cammie and Noel. Cam/Cammie stepped out of his full-time Little role to help Noel deal with his grief and the addition of Noel's sister's daughter to their household. This book dealt with real life issues and how the relationship between two loving, committed men became even more as they navigated their new roles as parents to a small child and discovered their Daddy/Little dynamic could still blossom despite the changes in their lives.

Loved it

I loved this book. Nick Knowles' voice really brings this story to life. Parts of it broke my heart. When Noel's sister died his world feels like its coming to a end. Camden his boy has to take on a role he's not use to to help his daddy. Rose ( Caroline's daughter) helps and needs both her uncles. Will all of them be able to heal and be what each other needs?

Things Change

I like the flow of the story. It explores how the dynamic of the relationship can change while the bond and love remain unchanged. I really loved the wrap up in the final chapter.

Great story, poor audio

This is a wonderfully moving story full of love and heart. The emotionally flat performance and atrocious audio quality almost made it a DNF, but I’m glad I stuck with it as the story on its own was worth it. The narrator comes most to life when narrating 3 year old Rose which I can appreciate. If you go into it knowing the story doesn’t spend time focusing on the daddy/little dynamic, but more on family and healing from grief, you may find this book more satisfying. Had I listened to the sample first, I would not have purchased this title. But after giving it some time, and letting the characters in, ultimately I enjoyed it, and there were tears at the end.
