Three lives intertwined in Nazi-occupied Paris:

In the sprawling network of catacombs underneath the Left Bank of Paris, they hide thousands of Jewish refugees, giving them new identities and leading them to safety. Together they move forward, outsmarting a ruthless enemy, overcoming obstacles, defying danger, moving farther and faster, almost invincible-until an innocent bystander notices something amiss and their entire world collapses around them.

Hated the virtual voice

The virtual voice is awful. You cannot tell the difference between the characters. It ruined the story for me as it was difficult to follow.

When darkness comes

The Ai voice is very poor not real. Inappropriate expressions. Not a good listen sounded like a child’s reading.

Couldn’t get interested

Normally I enjoy listening to WWII novels, especially when set in France. Couldn’t get interested in this one due to the AI-generated narrator.
