Excellent book on contemplative prayer

Jan Johnson succinctly and clearly lays out an overview of contemplative prayer, it’s practice, and its effect on our lives with God.

A spectacular read

This work does a tremendous amount to move listeners into the real spirit of authentic prayer with some of the most profound collection of insights into the contemplative lifestyle that I ever came across. Johnson’s writing style is exceptionally fluid, heart felt, and full of extraordinary insight. One would do well to read and absorb this work multiple times.

A Beautiful Unfolding of the Contemplative Prayer Life with God

Jan Johnson does an excellent presentation of sharing how the contemplative prayer life is achievable and desirable for the follower of Christ. As it becomes a new way of life the heart is changed and the way we see others is through the eyes of God. Transformative and growing in love, joy and peace which the world so desperately needs.

Really enjoyed and challenging me as I draw closer to God. I have no complaints about the material. The person who read to us was good but I confess I was looking forward to hearing Jan read to us. She has such a soothing and Penetrating voice. I will be listening to this again.
