entertaining

It was very interesting finding out the remaining secrets of Jessie's family and her ttue purpose. The other two stories were interesting too. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

Couldn't get past the narration

I tried to really like this series, and I think I would have if it had a different narrator. Angel Clark seems to give all of the female characters high-pitched, whiny voices and that's what threw me off of this series. The story itself seems to be well written, and I may try getting the books and reading them myself to give the author another try.

I loved the flowing storyline

I loved the book, I really did. The storyline, and characters were very interesting. It wasn't one of those stories where you had an overbearing male trying to "protect" his strong, but helpless female. And it wasn't one of those "I have power, and I have to save the world ".
In this case, the leading female gets help from all of her friends, and they don't have overbearing men trying to decide what's best for them.

Now for the narrator. I don't want to sound mean, and hurt her feelings. But, it took me a while to get used to her. sometimes it was like she was yelling at me. But once I got used to her type of reading, I enjoyed the book.

Jessie inherited a bed and breakfast place, wanting a quiet life after the hustle of her job in Savannah. She didn’t count on the ghosts that Iinhabit this place,then murder the next day or was it a prank.
Enjoyed as I have her other stories I have read.

Nice cozy mysteries...

These were nice cozy mysteries with a supernatural twist. The characters were fun and witty.
