Riveting storytelling!

This was an incredibly intriguing story with mystery and romance! The narrator did an awesome job of using various dialects and voices! Can’t wait for the second book in this series!

I love Connealy’s humor!

The combo of Connealy and McCullough can’t be beat! Loved the story, loved the narration, and now I’ll be waiting (impatiently) for the next book!!!!

Fun adventure

This is a fun story with plenty of adventure and revisits characters from a past series, which I enjoyed.

Narrator sounds like she’s reading to children.

Maybe this is a great story but it’s really hard to tell because of the narrator’s cadence. She truly sounds like she’s reading a children’s book. Like everything is a fact or question. Even when the characters kiss it seems so out of left field because the narrator is almost robotic. Maybe this is ai? I really don’t know. I had to return this one. Trying to finish it felt like a chore.
