so many twists and turns

I truly enjoyed the story. Having grown up in Louisiana, I know there are many legends in the Cajun culture. Most legends are based in some facts. Watching the transformation of the main character and uncovering the history that made her so distant was believable based on my knowledge of trauma. The story was well-researched.

Love the story and how it involved God! It is greatly interesting and loving. A must read!

Loved this book. It’s hard to find a well written book with an original storyline these days, but this one certainly pulled it off!
