The closer he comes to the truth, the deeper McQuede is drawn into an elaborate hoax that threatens his career and places him in grave danger.

Fascinating Mystery Based on the Pedro Mummy

I am enjoying this series set in Wyoming. In this story Sheriff McQuede works to solve the mystery of a stolen artifact with historical significance. I loved the setting and how the plot unfolds. It was reminiscent of Tony Hillerman but set in Wyoming.
