Beautifully wrecking. White Nights is an absolute gem—a delicate, aching portrayal of loneliness and fleeting love. No book has ever tugged at my heart quite like this one.

"White Nights" by Fyodor Dostoevsky is an emotional and poetic read that captivated me from the start. The way Dostoevsky describes the city of St. Petersburg during the white nights of summer is simply enchanting. The story of love and loneliness that develops between the narrator and Nastenka is heart-wrenching and made me reflect on the nature of love and human connection.🤍

Additionally, I want to highlight the excellent work of the narrator, Luke Thompson, who brought the story to life with his emotional and expressive voice. I really enjoyed how he managed to convey the narrator's introspection and emotion, making the experience of listening to the book even more immersive and enjoyable. ✨️

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone looking for an emotional and lyrical read.🩷

Dostoyevsky completely embalms what it’s like to yearn for romance between our two characters. Each of the characters are different in their views of what torture they are enduring in their strife for that rose colored lens of life.

It was as if I am watching this as a play in the theater, I cried on multiple occasions while listening to it. Especially loved the Second night life story part, the nervousness and the excitement of the main character was very powerful and beautifully narrated.

The narration was so beautiful!

With all the hype surrounding this title on Instagram, I was eager to finally see what everyone was talking about. Unfortunately, the book was a major disappointment — lacking depth, filled with immature drama, and ultimately not engaging at all.
