Obsessed

Okay okayyyy, I’m officially obsessed. White Raven keeps the momentum from book one perfectly, and that is not easy to pull off. This sequel gives us the necessary filler and world-building without ever feeling like a drag which is where a lot of authors lose the plot (literally). Every extra detail feels intentional, layered, and meaningful. Instead of slowing the story down, it deepens it, keeping me locked in and fully invested the entire time.
Kelly Carpenter absolutely understands pacing and reader engagement. The tension, character development, and emotional beats all land, and I never once felt like I was reading just to “get through” the middle. This book proves that filler doesn’t have to be boring when it’s done right. White Raven builds, expands, and hooks you harder, making it impossible not to keep turning the pages. A flawless continuation this series is officially on my must-read list.

We get more Fury and she is learning so much more. And there’s more development with her men which I adored. She’s also figuring out more about her magic and how to use it. I couldn’t stop listening to the story. It had me on edge the entire time and I needed to know what would happen next. I seriously need the next book cause I need to know what’s going to happen with Fury and her guys.

Another excellent installment

This book took me longer to become absorbed in then the first, but once I did, I was all in! The book picks up exactly where we left all our characters at the end of book 1. This book reveals a few juicy tid bits, just enough to make sure we all know the final book, book 3 will be a wild ride.

NOOOOOOO stupid cliffhangers!!!!

The book is great it ends on a cliffhanger which kills me can’t wait for the next want to come out on audio!

I enjoyed the first book and this one just sucks you in even more. What a cliffhanger, I want the next book now.
