Our heroine, Whitney Wallace, is having a fit to go to a concert featuring her favorite band but soon finds out that her parents are not going to buy her the tickets. No matter how much she asks they won't budge. Then the librarian shares a possible new way to see the show with her, for free.

Will she be able to actually meet these new goals, make her plan work and get the free tickets too? And will she be able to do it in the two-week time frame before the show happens? Is she really willing to put in the work needed to reach her goal?

I had originally asked for this book for my granddaughter to listen to. After sitting down and listening to it, I almost wanted to make my 18 year old son listen to it...lol. The books are great for helping inspire kids to strive to do better for themselves. I highly recommend it!

The narrator did a superb job acting out the characters of the book.

Great children’s storytelling. Wonderful quick story with lessons about money management, working for what you want, perseverance, practice, helping others, all without realizing you are being taught these things. Author and narrator are a good combo. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator or publisher

Hard work pays off. This is a fun story about a little girl learning the value of hard work and a little stick-to-it-iveness. Much better than one of the earlier stories in this series.

The narrator did a great job.

Lesson Learned. In more ways than one.

In this day in age where most kids want everything to be handed to them, it's nice to find a book that promotes gratitude for hardwork. This is a fun way for young people to realize that putting in the effort to get what you want will make you appreciate it more. The narrator did an outstanding job, especially with the kid voices. I highly recommend this book to parents who want to teach their kids what a good work ethic is. I was given a free copy of this book at my request and have voluntarily decided to leave this review.

A great lesson.

This was a cute morality tale about money and work. A child without money to attend her favorite band's concert finds out about tickets given to people who can play one of their songs on guitar. Without money or musical ability, the girl does chores for a guitar instructor in exchange for lessons, which she finds out aren't as easy as she hoped. This story bundles lessons about trading labor for money and working through a tough goal.
