I have long had a fascination with other beliefs. I began in a non-denominational church, and to say the least, I really did not understand the restraints of the denominations of today. That is, until I joined and preached in a church in Michigan called the Community of Christ, which my first book was largely about. There will never be the perfect church on Earth, especially run by us humans. However, God did leave us the guidelines that he expects us to follow. God did not design our faiths to be separate and in constant conflict with one another, especially over simple doctrinal issues that have, over the centuries, torn God's people apart. He wanted us to worship and praise him as one body, not the separate ones that we are today. With that said, in this study of the Seventh Day Adventists, you the listener can determine if this the church for you, or if it is, as some might conclude, a cult that has pulled God's people away from his word, and set them on a path to damnation.
