A brave woman who was an invalid most of her life, she transformed herself into a living work of art. As famous for her self-portraits and haunting imagery as she was for her marriage to another famous artist, Diego Rivera, this strong and courageous painter was inspired by the ancient culture and history of her beloved homeland, Mexico. Her paintings continue to inform and inspire popular culture around the world.

Good story

Good story for the age group this book is intended for. Some things could’ve had more detail but young kids don’t need that. It was a good introduction to who she was.

Missing Parts

Book was informative and interesting, but failed to go into detail of Diego and Frida's relationship. I guess the author just wanted to focus on professional life of Frida.

Loved it!! Important key dates learned new things about my FRIDA!! Didnt know about her pet Granizo!!

Low end of the scale. I love Frida...I also know the facts. Wanted a story so I could " feel " it. Don't recommend
