The novel opens with Remington Sawyer meeting Cade Forbes and the group of men for the first time at a private party. He travels with them to learn who they are. He finds out that the men are more than nightclub owners. They are more than Doms & Submissives. They are friends. They are husbands and parents. Remi discovers identity is more than one aspect of a person's life, and sometimes other people get it all wrong. More importantly, the men help him to realize who he is and they give him a place to belong.

They are the best of friends. They're all the family they have left. When an internet influencer posts derogatory comments about Alexander Hudson calling his best friends the filthy rich bend over boys, he's not having it. Especially when he and Ryan are parents, and the post goes viral affecting their son, Marco.
