What can I say … absolutely perfect

All I’ll say is so much wry humor and humanity .. .. M Macfarlaine always has this amazing standard of writing .. more than a rom con and always super fun .. X

Loved it til the end

I disliked the abrupt ending. I really loved the whole story to the point where it ended.

Ugh, the ending!

Thank goodness there’s a second book or I would be really upset about the ending of this one.

Gripping, relatable, romantic

Very well read by the narrator, this fascinating psychological drama is rich in detail with amusing turns of phrase. There is character growth, plenty of self awareness, and swoony romance.

Anyone else notice "clicks" in the recording?

I love McFarland's books and this is also enjoyable. But I keep hearing a click noise at the beginning of most of the narrator's lines, and I'm finding it really distracting. It sounds like maybe it was edited and pasted together, or some other kind of production noise.
