Veganism is a philosophy, diet, and lifestyle. The term “vegan” combining the beginning and ending of the word “vegetarian”, symbolizing the transition to veganism, which starts with vegetarianism.

Today, a vegan is defined as a “strict vegetarian who consumes no animal food or dairy products” as well as “one who abstains from using animal products, extending beyond merely dietary exclusions".

Such forbidden foods include eggs, honey, and gelatin, while animal products such as leather, wool, fur, and silk are excluded from clothing and upholstery. In other words, veganism is no longer simply a diet, but also a lifestyle, a key aspect that often goes unnoticed today.

In this audiobook, you will learn that the reasons for becoming vegan are numerous and varied.

Lots of numbers get thrown at you. Thought it was going to be more of an anecdotal listen. Narrator mispronounced some words. Overall choose a different book if you want to learn about going vegan. It almost sounds like someone trying to convince you being vegan is tedious and difficult and without proper privilege you may not succeed, which is false. Also, there is not accompanied pdf so I'm confused as to why others claim there are recipes.
