Celebrate the greatest saga ever told: All of us who are deeply influenced by the epic saga of Star Wars have our favorite moments. Each time the screen goes black and you see those words - "a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away" - the music blasts through you, and you're a kid again. Ken Napzok, expert appreciator of Star Wars, counts down each one of those special moments that makes this series not just the best movies of all time, but the greatest saga ever told.

Become a scholar of Star Wars: What began as one movie about good people, evil oppressors, and the space wizards that stood between them has exploded into a franchise. The moments that continue to inspire are on screen and in the pages of novels. They are found in the panels of comic books and among animated sequences on television. And they all continue to grow in stature, importance, and myth through discussions, debates, and daydreams.

Why We Love Star Wars: The Great Moments That Built a Galaxy Far, Far Away is the ultimate gift for the film buff who has binged all 1001 Movies to See Before You Die and the super-fan who covets Star Wars: The Visual Encyclopedia and Star Wars: Complete Locations.

Loved listening to author’s take on scenes and characters I am familiar with, but also started making a list of material I never knew about or thought about, such as the comics. Very geeky, in the best way possible, from start to finish. The author’s unapologetic sincerity, combined with clever writing, was refreshing.

All I can say is this is a must for Star Wars fans!!! The author takes you back to when you watched all the Star Wars movies for the first time, and captures what you were feeling at those iconic moments....even the Phantom Menance and JarJar Binks make it in the top 100!!
May not have agreed with all of the author's rankings, but that's what makes this book fun.

What a Wonderful journey!!

There is nothing better than an author reading his own words. You can just feel the extra layer of emotion it provides. As a long time Star Wars fan I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciated the positivity this book provided. It felt like chatting with an old friend with whom
I share a passion.

The odds of me not liking this book was 3720:1. I've been a long time fan of Ken's podcast work. I enjoy his personal insights into the Star Wars universe that he shares with a range of emotion that sometimes even rivals my own. His tales of his personal experiences remind me of the conversations I had with my old friends a long time ago. I think that's my favorite part of this audiobook. He brings back those conversations I really miss having. If I ever run into Ken, I owe him a beer.
