Took me back!

I love this story. It’s so relatable, even as a woman in her mid-30s. We have all at one time been Emma - awkward, trying to figure out our own personalities while maintaining friendships and crushes, self-conscious, etc. I also really love when authors tell their stories themselves. I can’t wait to read more from Rebecca!

Friendships and first love

I adored this audiobook! Garner did a great job and brought so much life to Emma by narrating it herself. The journey was so realistic and often felt like she was in my head when I was Emma’s age. Very well done!!

Funny and relatable - you’ll fall in love with Emma

Truly enjoyable story of young teenage life. Emma is a ball of contradiction and love. She’s fun to spend time with as she bounces from love to school to home. Her friend group and her family give her a supportive springboard for her hopes and dreams. The author read on this is top notch and really keeps the story moving. As the story ended, I was already wondering what will Emma do next? Enjoy your time with Emma and her crew!
