good

This was the second book to the series. This book was good as the first book. With everything that has been thrown her way. She had never gave up. Some chapter wanted you to just wipe your tears away because you can feel her pain. I really hope there will be a third book

good listen

Listening to this book, without the listen of the first one in the series did hurt the experience a little, but this was still a pleasant listen.
The characters were relatable and the story was interesting enough to captivate me and made me want to go back and read the first book.
The narrators did a good job with these characters and all-in-all it was a good listen.

Wicked Embrace!

This is the second story in Tom and Sara's journey. I did not read the first story and I think the author did a great job making this one you can read, or in my case listen to, as a stand alone one. The story is addicting and intriguing. It is a hot and sexy read filled with angst, drama, suspense and good twists. Both characters have been burned by the past. I enjoyed how this story developed and their pull toward each other. I think the narrator did a great job telling the story.

Lots of feels.

I was gifted an Audible version of this book from Story Origin. I did not read the first book in this duet. I didn't realize there was one. I didn't feel at all lost. I can see how that first book had to be good, too.
This story was really good. Two wonderful characters with tragic pasts. Their journey to a HEA was full of feels. Sympathy. Misunderstandings. Relapses. Frustration. Anger. Love. So, so good.
The two narrators put alot of feeling into this story. 5 stars for them too.

The story flowed well, enhanced by the smooth emo

When I chose to listen to this book, I didn't realise that there was a book preceding this one. Though I would have preferred to enjoy the books in chronological order, it did not impact my overall enjoyment of Sara and Tom's story. The book flowed well, enhanced by the smooth emotive narration. The book has it all, drama, intrigue, angst, and a twist or two. Thankfully Tom and Sara after navigating their emotional gauntlet, received a deserving HEA.
