the storyline

I loved every second of book three and the narrators are amazing!!!!! I wanted more of this story and more of London

So Twisted but So Satisfying

This book got even darker, more complicated, more intense, more seductive, and more twisted than those before it and I loved every second! I felt all the brutal longing, raw heartache, & gut-wrenching pain from our MCs as I read this. The spice kept going but the plot kept me wrapped in! I also really enjoyed how this series came to its close as well, it wasn’t quite what I expected but that’s what I really loved about it. If you like your romance dark, tragic, spicy, & uniquely beautiful—you need to read The Bone Love series!!

a really good ending to a really hard story

This was a great ending to the trilogy. I really like how the story shows how people might deteriorate over time when they are isolated, being starved, and have no government or legal system. While the kids are survivors, the story shows how all of these factors affect each person's mind differently. The story took me through all the emotions, but there is a positive ending. The plot is suspenseful, the characters feel real, and the narrator for the audio does a great job with all the characters. I was a little confused at the end as to why Micah's parents got arrested. I know they were using bribery to cover up a crime, but it might have helped to have that side story developed a little more. The whole trilogy is wonderful. Heed the trigger warnings as there are some very difficult scenes in the books, but I highly recommend.

Where do I even begin?

This book picks right off from the first one and man it grips you from the very beginning not letting you go! It is an absolute page Turner!

The narrators are fantastic and really bring out the emotion in the characters!

I want to start off by saying how grateful I am for the gift of this audiobook!! The narrators were fantastic and so enjoyable to listen to. Really a perfect choice for this book!

Now for the story! This is the final installment for this series and it so perfectly fits Rhea’s style of writing. It is not beautiful, it’s not easy to read, and it probably won’t leave you with butterflies in the belly butttt it absolutely will leave you FEELING emotions so strongly as though the characters were your own people. Rhea likes to push limits, make you uneasy, and bring out a level of darkness that most authors cannot into. It’s raw and gritty. It makes you rage and sweat and cry. Many times I tried to place myself in the shoes of these YOUNG characters who are in the midst of one of the most traumatizing experiences a person could go through and in the moments where I was triggered I saw their thoughts and emotions from a new lens. THAT is the magic of Rhea’s writing. She gets the real thoughts, the real questions, and the real physical and emotional responses that could occur but aren’t pretty.
