Wonderful

I am fully invested in these characters and poor Cole is so misunderstood but he does a fantastic job of making that easy to do. Why in the heck can’t people just be fully honest with each other? Drives me mad, I love it, lol. I must know what’s going to happen, I can’t wait for the next book. Just like the first one I enjoyed the narration, I really have no complaints there. Secrets, Action, and Cliffhanger!

This is the second book in the Dark Falls Academy Series, a Fantasy Romance. Jules and Cole's adventures continue in this entertaining installment. Jules is a witch/demon. Cole is a dark Fae Prince. They are both very interesting characters. The storyline is filled with secrets, danger, and action. The supporting characters are intriguing, including Jules's sister, Flynn (the cruel bully), and Trent (the thirsty vampire). The world building is complex, and captivating. The story is set in the Dark Falls Academy, the most prestigious school in the three realms, where mortals mingle with immortals (vampire, fae, and mermaids). The story ends with a cliffhanger. Addison Barnes did an excellent job with the narration. Looking forward to listening to Immortal Sin, the next book in the series. second in series continues to draw you into the mystery and overall what is going on. I liked the narration as it just adds to the story.
