Happy endings are hard to find, and even though Katriona is in the middle of a war with someone who's already stolen more than she can replace, she aches for a positive future with her Draíochtans.

Armed with hope, confidence in her abilities, and a strange new gift from her mother, Kate ventures into the Darkness to defeat a fallen god.

Losses add up, and new obstacles rise to stand in the way.

Is the one determined to bring Encardia light strong enough to keep fighting, or will all the sacrifices to stop those who seek domination be for nothing?

I really enjoyed the Wilde's Trilogy, however the last book was very frustrating! The main character Katreiona Wilde has been through so much, leaned so much and yet knows Nothing! She continues to agonize incessantly over every struggle is if what she has already survived and gone through didn't happen or meant nothing. I'm sure the author meant to build suspence but I felt myself wanting to just slap some sense into her.
Aside from that I truly enjoyed the story. Great character development, action, magic and mystery. Well worth the frustration in the end.

Great story....but

But... As the 3 books cont., Kate's attitude/personality gets worse. Supposed hero but is so Clueless, Naive', Brainless, Selfish, Self-absorbed, Childish, Huge daydreamer (especially when she was supposed to be doing Much more important things), with Attention problems (mostly in her head), Drama Queen, self pity & more. I think u get the just of it. I was tired of hearing her tlk about herself & wanted to reach thru & slap her way to many times. Pls... if u have any more books, I hope they r not like this one or any more books in the future. If i had to buy them, I would have asked for my money back. Sry. The Story line was good though. Elves, magic, Gods, etc., that I liked.
