Excellent book!

I loved this book. The author was really funny and knowledgeable about wine. I learned a lot and recommended it to a friend. My only complaint is the politics infused into the last part of the book.... I don’t understand why authors need to do this

Felt like chilling with a new bestie

I was sad when this book was over and within the first few sentences I felt immediately like Marissa was my bff. I thought the profanity was funny and conversational. Some of the content was lists, and would have been better in written format as a reference book. Don't expect every single fact or piece of advice to be groundbreaking or novel, but it's still informative and enjoyable, and if Marissa doesn't win you over you're probably a terrible person who hates fun.

the peoples elbow

I really enjoyed this book. My only qualm is the very apparent liberal undertone, I get it you hate your republican parents. GET over it! Whatever party you are for or against this is a book about wine not your soap box. Moving on (see you can do it too!), I love the knowledge and most jokes she inserts into this book. It's mostly light hearted and well researched.
