Cade Avery is running for a position on his local county council. He’s extremely good at what he does and is a valuable asset to his community. The trouble is, he upsets people, says the wrong things, and rides roughshod over other people’s plans and ideas. His assistant, Mary, eager to improve Cade’s public image, hires him a campaign manager.
Quentin Rayworth is thrilled to be working with such a formidable public figure. It’ll be a challenge, but he’s confident he can help Cade to win the election, and knows that the achievement will look impressive on his CV.
It’s soon clear that the two men are set to be an excellent team. That is, until Cade’s werewolf makes its intentions known - in Quentin, it has found its mate, and it will not rest until he has claimed him. But can Cade - and his wolf - win over the campaign manager?

When is new boss came in strong Quentin felt uncomfortable and decided that he really didn’t need the job after all. But when the truth about Cade comes out well the book just kind of ends. I think I would have liked to have read more of this story. I know it was short but it did feel a little incomplete.

4 Stars narration
I think the best part of this book might have been the narration. I could barely follow the storyline in this book due to the narrators voice being so damn sexy. I have zero clue where his accent is based from, but I could happily listen to him talk all day. Idk where she finds them, but Lucy always has the best narrator voices for her audiobooks.
I'm probably going to have to listen to this one again to retain the actual story and plot were given in this book. But overall I'm pretty sure it was a good book, it was just really short...

Would I listen to it again: yes
I enjoyed Mitchell Pett's narration, he has a great voice and believable inflections. It took me a few minutes to get familiar with his accent, but once I did, I was immersed in the action.

I liked the narrators accent but he had some things he needed to work on. Making an echoed voice or something to differentiate when he is going from speech to thought! Also, he had some points where he stumbled over the word. I know some voice actors will cut that out and fix it. And add some more emotion to the voiceS!
