Celebrate the season as the Quinn family gather once again in Nantucket for another Christmas following a year of huge life changes.

A second Christmas on Nantucket finds Winter Street Inn owner Kelley Quinn reflecting on the past year as he writes a holiday letter to friends and family. Though the year has had its share of misfortune and worry, the Quinns have much to celebrate. Kelley, now single, at least is on better terms with his first wife Margaret, who is using her celebrity to lure customers to the inn in record numbers. Their son Kevin has a beautiful new baby, Genevieve, with the Inn's French housekeeper, Isabelle; and their daughter, Ava, is finally dating a nice guy—her devoted colleague, Scott.

Now the Quinns are looking forward to celebrating Genevieve's baptism, welcoming Isabelle to the family, and enjoying the cheer of Nantucket's traditional Christmas Stroll. But just when a peaceful family gathering seems within reach, Kelley's estranged second wife, Mitzi, shows up on the island after souring on her relationship with the inn's former Santa Claus. Soon Kelley isn't the only Quinn entertaining a surprise guest from Christmases past as lovers old and new gather beneath the mistletoe. With jealousy, passion, and eggnog consumption at an all-time high, it's going to take a whole lot more than a Christmas miracle to get the Quinns—and the inn—through the holidays intact.

Nice book

I have been enjoying Elin's books on my 20 min drive to and from work.

Beautiful narration, annoying story

WINTER STROLL is a dysfunctional relationship lalapalooza, and not in a good way.

Unlike most of Elin Hilderbrand’s books, WINTER STROLL has a few truly unlikable, unsympathetic characters. One of them, Mitzi is supposed to be sympathetic, she’s only a train-wreck because her soldier son is MIA. I’m sorry, that’s not an excuse for things she did before we was MIA or some of her horrible, selfish behavior now. A little grace for occasionally being off is different than consistently treating others badly.

Additionally there are love triangles that make no sense, horrible communication, the jealousy of middle school girls and unlikable behavior galore.

The narration made the story, enjoyable. Erin Bennett can do male and female characters equally brilliantly as well as straight narration.

Big cast!

This one admittedly topk a session or two before i grasped the full cast of characters and their responsibilities in the story. But another fave.

Leaves You Hanging

I enjoy the storylines and love the characters. However, I do not like to be left hanging with so many unresolved issues from each book. I would continue to buy the books to follow the characters anyway. No need for the dangling endings.

I can't wait for the next one

Love Nantucket now and this family. I think I would like to hear what they are up to forever. keep the books coming.
