Be careful what you wish for! When Buddy Pancake and his drinking buddies stumble across the Wish List website, they jokingly post their "impossible" wishes. Imagine their surprise when, one by one, the wishes start coming true! But Buddy and his pals neglected to read the fine print explaining the price they must pay for the wishes they've been granted. Wish List is a compelling, nail-biting, laugh-out-loud thriller in the tradition of Saving Rachel.

If you had 4 wishes for anything you wanted, what would you choose?
Would you be willing to do anything to get those wishes?
Locke uses his now familiar technique of writing half of a Donovan creed novel as a completely new character. But this time the new guy’s a real turd and because of this Locke is able to take his unique blend of humour and disgust to new levels. I hate to say it though: It became a bit predictable in the second half as soon as Creed got involved.

The premise is silly, the plot light. But this is true Locke, heating it up just a little more. He addresses subjects that likely have been done before, but not with his flair for the ability to bring out the worst in people. You can’t read this one if you haven’t read at least Lethal Experiment; the second half will be too unbelievable otherwise. It’s a fast read and a refreshing return to normal—Locke’s version—after Now and Then.

Like the rest of this series none are exactly the same. Yet interestingly enough there is a thread of connection to the other stories. You might think you know who has come back from a prior story but you will be surprised all the same.
it can be a stand alone story still you should read the prior stories.
personally I enjoy a story told by multiple narrators. Ganser and Orlow do an outstanding job giving even more depth to the characters.
I loved this audible book and it's wicked dark humor.

Twisted dark humor.

I'm fairly new to John Locke's books, but having read BOX on my Kindle Fire, and wanting to try out Audible, I decided to give this one a shot. And what can I say, I was blown away! Great story, and very nicely narrated by L.J. Ganser and Rich Orlow.

And, yes, it has lots of sexual references and words that adults use, but if you know anything about John Locke's body of works, you'll know what to expect.

So, if you're a grown-up, that enjoys non-mainstream fiction for grown-ups, and have a decent sense of humor, then this book is for you. Please don't pay any attention the poor reviews by some prudes - this is a great story.

Great fiction for grown-ups (not prudes)

Any additional comments?

Since Audible's reviews don't seem to warn about extreme violence, I hope this helps other readers to decide on this book.

Revolting sexual violence
