A poisoned pastry. A murdered producer. And one witch racing the clock to keep a baking show from crumbling.

Willow Morgan thought she was only in the city to cheer on her best friend Julia, a contestant on a nationally televised baking competition. But when a powerful producer drops dead mid-filming—face-first into his morning pastry—Willow finds herself in the middle of a recipe for murder.

With the competition in limbo, the police investigating, and her friends busy with other things, it’s up to Willow to sniff out the killer before the entire season—and Julia’s big break—gets canceled. Unfortunately, almost everyone on set has a grudge and a spatula to grind: jilted chefs, overworked assistants, network execs with agendas, and a snarky big-city rat with inside information.

Toss in a city full of magical regulations, a sketchy new vet back home, and a Department of Magical Regulation agent who’s got Willow in her bureaucratic crosshairs, and things are more than a little out of whisk.

Can Willow crack the case before the show goes up in smoke—or will her sleuthing land her on the chopping block?

Witch Deadly Trip is a magical murder mystery filled with charm, humor, friendship, and just the right amount of bite. Perfect for fans of paranormal cozies with heart—and pastry.

When I’m in the mood for light hearted, magic and mystery this book (series) provides lavishly. The mystery is a decent who dun’it without as much redundancy in language or over reaching to explain perfect relationships. I love the animal character development and hope the Rat makes it into subsequent stories
