How far would you go for a second chance at life…and love?

Michael Charon is ready to die.

Well, not really. He plans to fake his death so he can start over and reinvent himself, free from his unfaithful wife and hollow existence. But his elaborate plan to drive his SUV off a bridge and parachute his way to a new life is thwarted by a man who’s truly trying to kill himself. Instead of ending it all, Michael ends up in Germany on a work trip, where he meets Maria, a beautiful American author.

The two fall madly in love, spending every waking moment together. For the first time in ages, Michael can see a future for himself with Maria.

Then tragedy strikes. Thinking Maria is dead, Michael follows through on his exit strategy and disappears. However, Maria is very much alive . . . and determined to find him.

But how do you find a phantom?

With the End in Mind will capture the heart of anyone who’s ever wanted a do-over. It’s a gripping story of love, fate, redemption, and the lengths two people will go to for a chance at a life worth living.

I have never read anything by this author before, and if I judge by this book, I will not read anything else either. The book includes too many technical details and information that is unwarranted. You are constantly and abruptly jumping from one setting to another. I found myself having to rewind multiple times.

Very Confusing
