More steamy secrets revealed!!

Wolf Pawn by Bella Jacobs is book 2 in her Wolve of New York fated-mates PNR Wolf Shifter romance series. It picks up right where Wolf King leaves off jumping right back into Maxim and Willow's romance. In Wolf Pawn, the roles are much more reversed, and we begin to see that Willow does indeed hold some of the power. I loved that she did let Maxim boss her around and that she had her own agenda! More secrets about the prophecy are revealed, and both Maxim and Willow continue to learn more about their fated-mate romance including an engagement!

Lili Valente and Jason Clarke narrate this audiobook and are amazing at peeling back more and more layers of Maxim and Willow's intricate, complicated, and steamy relationship. Lili showcased Willow's fierce and perceptive personality perfectly turning the tables on Maxim. Jason is once again fantastic at conveying Maxim's deep dominant and overbearing persona.

Wolf Pawn ends in a cliffhanger, and I can't wait to find out what happens next in Wolf Queen!

Still pretty good

Even though Willow is getting on my nerves. She is just as bad, if not worse than Maxim. Narrative are doing a great job with characters. This should have been a boxed set based on the length of the book.

This was so good but again too short. Where is the world and character buildup. What happened on giving a reading enough to imagine the world develop in this book?? I feel like the author could have done so much more.🤔😳

Please note close to the end of this book there is a rape scene that can be a trigger for some people. It’s not gruesome but it can be a bit hard to swallow even when you hear the male perspective on what he believes is right!! 🫤😔

I enjoy everything else except the above but I understand that the male wolf needed to be perceived has the villain and he needed to be evil up to a point for this prophecy to come true.

Oh almost forgot the 1st book was a cliffhanger and guess what?!?
…so is this one!!!😱🫣

Couldn’t stop listening!

1 book a month is nowhere near enough! I want to finish the series! My only complaint and not really a complaint, using a mans voice for the female parts even though softer just made it more difficult to envision. I love Lili’s style and the inflection in all the right places, it’s just obviously male.

Oh I love this series and these narrators!!

Oh. My. Gosh. It just keeps getting better!

If Maxim gives Willow an inch, will she take a mile? WIll she take the mile before he can give her anything? How will he react? Can these two fated mates ever trust each other? And what happens if they can’t?

This book is really a page-turner. I didn’t know how the characters would react, or what would happen on each page. I cannot wait for the next book - or two?

Can we TALK about the narration?! OH MY GOSH. I always love these narrators, but Jason Clarke as Maxim?? WHEW. I will be listening again and again!!!
