Sixteen-year-old Annalie thought life couldn’t get worse after her father was enchanted into marrying Elzbeth, a bewitching socialite. But when Annalie’s newfound magic reveals her stepmother’s true form—green skin and sinister illusions—she uncovers a deadly pattern: a trail of wealthy husbands, all dead, including her father.

Annalie sets out to uncover the truth of her stepmother’s murders before she strikes again. As she races to unravel the truth about Elzbeth’s agenda, she discovers that good and evil aren’t always what they seem.

Wonderfully Wicked is a YA Fantasy retelling of the Cinderella fairytale, chock-full of magic, deception, and twists that you never saw from the princess’s POV.

I really enjoyed listening to Wonderfully Wicked. Kamy Lavin crafts a fun and imaginative twist on the classic fairy-tale formula, blending magic, mystery, and a heroine you can’t help but root for. Annalie’s journey as she begins to uncover the truth about her mysterious stepmother kept me completely engaged.

What truly makes the audiobook shine is Nancy Peterson’s narration. She does a fantastic job giving each character personality and emotion, and her performance adds so much life to the story. The pacing, tone, and character voices made it easy to get completely pulled into the world.

If you enjoy fairy-tale inspired fantasy and strong storytelling, this is a wonderful audiobook—and Nancy Peterson’s performance makes it an especially great listen!

Already enjoyed this book in written form. Wanted to re read this but no time. So i loved that it was available on audio.
The narrator did an amazing job in sinking me into this story.
The story itself is not your typical Cinderella story.
Those that you believed to be villains have stories of their own.
Justice doesn’t always look like the way you think it should.
Love all these characters and can’t wait to visit them again.
Highly recommend everyone give this a read or listen.

Great story and amazing narration

This story/audio is an amazing combination of fairytales (Cinderella) and movie (Wicked) we know and love, with a fresh and exciting take and spin.
I loved the weaving of the world and the traditional fairytale stories with new slants and characters. The combo of Cinderella’s step-sister and the “evil Stepmother” who’s Elphaba-inspired worked so well.
The nods roc characters and scenes from each original story was fun to catch!
The narrator provided me with pleasant tone, variations with the many characters we meet, especially our two main characters (Anna, Elzbeth)…and the Fairy Godmothers often provided some much-appreciated comic relief….and magical insight!
Looking forward to the next book in this series!!
