Skylar for the Win!

Kellen and Skylar! I liked watching these two find their way. Skylar was a surprise and I enjoyed how the pack and Brooke liked her and helped her. That “test” at the beginning made me smile!

Kellen is my favorite!

This is book #2 of #7 in the Saw Bears Series, and book #2 of #48 in the Damon’s Mountains Universe Series. It’s also Kellen and Skyler’s story.

You meet Kellen in book #1 and though he may seem to have similarities to a certain “Forest”, he is not as “simple” as he seems. He is actually the second to the alpha for his calm and honest mind. He keeps it simple because he is not a game player nor does he like people who play them. He won my heart, and probably many others, from the first sentence he ever utters, and the feels just got bigger. Unfortunately this doesn’t help him with the ladies, but that’s ok cause the right one has more than enough words to fill in the gaps.

I love Skyler too! She is adorable and perfect for Kellen. Won’t spoil it for you but what her ex did to her shifted form is the ultimate insult anyone could of done. Trust me, you will get it once you know.

I’m loving this series and T.S. Joyce. I need more!

Mackenzie Harte continues to entertain.

No issues with the audio production. I listened at 0.95x speed, because this is just my preference.

Kellen is my hero

I loved Kellen and Sklyers story! I feel awkward around people so I felt their story.

Kellen is AWESOME

okay, so, abused and broken is how we meet Skyler and Kellen isn’t happy about it. He takes her home. Takes care of her. Loves her. These are so adorable because Kellen is awkward. He’s not your normal guy he’s very, um, open about everything. Pretty quickly that rubs off on Skyler and adds to her awesomeness.

Their love story is quick. (again, short so what can you expect?) but it is fierce. These two are so destined for happiness that it’s beautiful.

Mackenzie Harte does an amazing job bringing these characters to life and it was really just a great story!

Kellen always tries to do the right thing, so when he sees a woman who has been abused, he does the right thing in his mind and by his bear - he steals her away. But Skyler comes from a unique clan and may have only brought danger to Kellen’s crew. Will Kellen and Skyler help heal each other and find love or will her past tear them apart?

Oh my goodness, I just love this book! There’s such a special dynamic between Kellen and Skyler, and I just absolutely love them together. Kellen has a tragic past that has shaped him to be extra in tune with his bear, but also a warrior and fights for what he believes in. When he befriends you, he’s 100% on your side and a huge protector. Skyler has been abused and belittled, but I loved hearing her open up and experience life, friendship, respect, and love through Kellen and his crew. I loved hearing her find her self worth! The background events are also engaging, a little suspenseful, and kept me on the edge of my seat. Ms. Harte did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life and showcasing all of their emotions within the pages. This is such a powerful series with true emotions and lots of love!
