Deep in the ancient forest of Mosanika, the home of the druids, elven twins grow up.
Eighteen years has passed since the cataclysm and the world no longer knows of technology or science. Woods, the planet, was nearly wiped out in the cataclysm, leaving only those who hid underneath the old tree roots and deep in the mountain caves.
Wanzar of the Dark Moon, the son of the pirate who launched the war against the Lightbringer, remembers a time before the world changed, and he struggles with his past and the simple life in the druid’s forest.
Magic is gone. No new wizards have been born since the world changed and those who once had magic, can no longer touch it. The druids were a magical people and are now, dying out. They place their trust in the elves that live among them, hoping that they can somehow change the cause of the future, due to their magical ancestors.
