Worthless is the single most important book young men and women can read before they attend college. While teachers, guidance counselors and even parents are afraid to tell you the truth in an effort to spare your feelings, Worthless delivers a blunt and real-world assessment about the economic realities and consequences of choosing various degrees with a necessary and tough fatherly love. Don't lie to yourself. And certainly don't waste four years of your youth and thousands of dollars in tuition on a worthless degree. Buy this audiobook and understand why it is important you choose the right major. The book itself could be the wisest investment you ever make.

Wow. Very, very enlightened! Thank God I found this book BEFORE I went to college. I was struggling to figure out where and what I should do and major for but this book has helped me more than any of my teachers and guidance counselors ever did within my 4 years of high school. I'd recommend every high school student just to give it a listen. It's definitely worth it.

Very Enlightened

I think this was a really good book and I enjoyed it for the most part. There were a few things that really made me cringe though. Saying that "most" teachers become teachers for selfish reasons and that they just want the 3 month vacation was ridiculous. I'm 21 and 90% of my teachers in my life have made an astounding impact on my life while teaching me so that part should have been omitted. You really want to plunge the aspiration for STEM degrees down our throats but the truth is people should major in what they're passionate about and if that happens to be a liberal arts degree, good for them. Some people, including myself, just hate math with a passion, so how can we find passion in something that requires something we aren't passionate about. This would lead you to do a job you don't like just for the money and where is the TRUE purpose in that? People should really focus on creating a business and working for themselves while doing a job you're passionate about until your business skyrockets. Don't major in a math/science degree that won't give you pleasure other than money. I enjoyed your narration nonetheless and really liked how you made it short by getting straight to your points.

Enjoyed the book but..
