Not Great

The first book was ok, very entertaining at least. But this one is boring and the ending is terrible. The FMC is basically a doormat on the first book and I was really hoping to see her character grow a spine and rage vengeance upon her enemies on this book, or see what cool powers she’s going to develop, but no, none of that.

This destroyed me in the best way

While the first book was deliciously wicked, this conclusion was full of heart wrenching emotion, hard truths and unrelenting love. So underrated, this duology is one of my all time favourites.
